The Department of Economics at The University of Iowa invites applicants for one or more tenure-track/tenured positions in Applied Micro, Experimental, Financial Economics and/or Econometrics at the experienced Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels starting August 15, 2018. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. A faculty Fellowship, Professorship, or Chair may be available for a suitably qualified candidate.
Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Economics or a related field.
Applicants must have: 1) a demonstrated potential for publishing significant research in top-tier journals; 2) a demonstrated high level of teaching competence; and 3) an earned doctorate. Applicants must be capable of teaching courses across at least two levels of programs (undergraduate, master’s, doctoral) and working actively with doctoral students.
Interest and demonstrated competence in teaching econometrics and/or experimental economics and/or financial economics.
