The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine has openings for full-time tenure or non-tenure clinical track faculty in Comprehensive Ophthalmology.
Must have a Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
Must have graduated from a fully accredited ophthalmology residency.
Applicant must be eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa.
Applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to achieving diversity in the workforce.
The successful candidate(s) will have excellent medical and surgical skills with cataracts and a commitment to resident and fellow training.
A commitment to resident and fellow training is also required.
Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Experience in clinical or basic science research is highly desirable.
