The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa invites applications for a 12-month full-time clinical-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor to begin in July 2018. Primary responsibilities include supervision of graduate students in clinical practice, and program development and dissemination in the areas of childhood speech and language disorders. Other responsibilities may include direct service provision, classroom teaching, and scholarship within area of expertise.
MA/MS in Speech-Language Pathology.
Potential for excellence in speech-language disorders with specific expertise in the area of pediatric speech and language disorders, which may include early childhood, preschool or school age.
At least 3 years of clinical experience required.
CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists)
Experience in feeding/swallowing and/or literacy beneficial.
Clinical supervision experience.
PhD in hand by the start date.
