Position Description:

The University of Iowa Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, invites applications for a faculty position at a practice affiliated with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  The position would involve practicing somewhat independently in a clinically focused environment, while maintaining involvement with the academic teaching program at the University of Iowa.  The practice would include a significant aesthetic component while maintaining reconstructive opportunities.  Attractive salary and benefits with opportunities  for annual incentives. The clinical track position would be at an academic rank appropriate for the individual’s level of prior experience.

Education Requirement:

The candidate must be a graduate of an approved medical college with postgraduate training in an accredited Plastic Surgery training program.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must show a demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.  The candidate should also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Certifications:

Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery.
