Position Description:

The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty in the Body Imaging Section within the Department of Radiology. The successful candidate will be appointed on the Clinical track, Open Rank Professor. In addition to clinical activities, teaching and call duties are shared across the section.  Research start-up funds and protected time to pursue academic interests are available.

The Radiology Department includes 37 staff physicians, 13 fellows, 15 Ph.D. researchers, and 33 residents. The Department operates six clinical MDCT scanners including the Seimens Force.There are six clinical MR scanners (including a 3T) and 2 PET-CT scanners. Construction is approved for a PET/MR and a second Force CT scanner.

Education Requirement:

Applicants must have four years post-doctoral training in radiology.

Applicants must be fellowship trained in body imaging radiology.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have experience in all aspects of body imaging radiology.

Applicants must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology.

Desirable Qualifications:

Leadership experience and a demonstrated facility for teaching is highly desirable.
