The Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics seeks established independent investigators at the Associate or Full professor level. We offer a highly collaborative and diverse research environment, generous start-up, modern laboratory space, and many state-of-the-art core facilities spanning genomics, microscopy, to protein structure.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree
Applicants must have a robust hypothesis-driven research program focused at the molecular, biochemical, or cell biological level.
We are particularly interested in individuals whose research interests and expertise will complement one or more of the major Centers in the Carver College of Medicine such as the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Neuroscience Institute, Francois M. Abboud Cardiovascular Research Center, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center.
