Position Description:

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is seeking applications for 2 BC/BE heart failure cardiologists in the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the clinical track. One of the faculty positions will be to direct the Cardiomyopathy Section of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.  M.D. or equivalent is required.  Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.  Demonstrated experience promoting a diverse workforce/academic environment is required.  Experience in all phases of heart failure, mechanical circulatory management, and heart transplant patient management required.  A demonstrated record of scholarly work and administrative leadership is required. 

Education Requirement:

M.D. or equivalent

Required Qualifications:
