The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is recruiting faculty candidates for its Program In Pediatric Research. These tenure track positions will support investigators in basic, translational, and clinical research in any subspecialty of pediatrics, including Allergy-Immunology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Child and Community Health, Critical Care, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Gastroenterology, General Pediatrics, Genetics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Nephrology and Dialysis, Hypertension, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Medicine, and Rheumatology, or any related area. Candidates will be considered at any stage of their career, with rank dependent on qualifications and experience. The Program provides a generous start-up package, as well as mentorship for early-career investigators. The mission of the Program For Pediatric Research is to support research into the causes and cures of childhood illness and the improvement of child health.
All applicants must have a relevant doctoral degree and a record of accomplishment in the area of pediatric research
Proven track record in research and peer-reviewed external funding
Must meet grant requirements, including U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
Strength in teaching
Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
Current NIH funding (K or R)
An interest in interdisciplinary research programs
