This is a full time fiscal (12-month) faculty rank position at the College of Nursing with a teaching role and a practice/service role. &#13;&lt;br/&gt;&#13;&lt;br/&gt;In the practice role, the Housecalls Faculty Practitioner will provide the community with exceptional nursing-based health care while supplying the College of Nursing with clinical opportunities for the faculty, staff, and students as well as a source of revenue.  The Housecalls Faculty Practitioner will function as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.  Practice duties will include: providing direct patient care in the form of assessment, diagnosis, and plan of care for clients; documentation and billing of above; scheduling own patient case load; teaching and consultation (formal and/or informal) with families, staff, and patients.  Teaching responsibilities will consist of teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses during the academic year (fall and spring semesters) and during the summer semester.  &#13;&lt;br/&gt;&#13;&lt;br/&gt;The selected candidate will be expected to currently have or successfully complete CPR certification, HIPPA training, and Mandatory reporter training as a condition of employment.&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Applicant Credentials are Subject to Verification&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Background checks(criminal history, child/dependent adult sexual abuse) will be conducted on final candidates for all positions in UI Hospitals and Clinics.
