The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Position in entrepreneurship at the level of Assistant Professor of Instruction or Practice, Associate Professor of Instruction or Practice, or Full Professor of Instruction or Practice starting in August 2026. This position requires in-person instruction on campus in Iowa City, Monday through Friday. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. This position is 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and includes a 1-7 year contract, determined by rank and experience, with benefits. • A master’s degree or higher in business or a related field.

• Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in business.


• Strong background in entrepreneurship, applied marketing, or business strategy with industry experience (5-10 years).


• ​Ability to teach on-site in Iowa City, Iowa, Monday – Friday.

• We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach courses in entrepreneurial marketing, entrepreneurial strategy, and entrepreneurship: business consulting at the undergraduate level and strategic management topics at the graduate level.
