The Department of Accounting within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one Tenured/Tenured-Track Faculty Position in Accounting at the level of Associate or Full Professor starting August 19, 2026. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Position is 100% time with benefits. • An earned doctorate. 

• Evidence of a high level of teaching expertise at the undergraduate or graduate level in accounting.


• A demonstrated record of publishing significant research in top-tier accounting journals consistent with tenure and promotion at the Associate or Full rank, and evidence of continuing research productivity.

• Demonstrated expertise in teaching Accounting at the undergraduate and graduate level.


• Demonstrated success in working with doctoral students.
