Position Description:

The Department of Marketing within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position(s) in Marketing at the level of Visiting Assistant or Associate starting August 16, 2023. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 2 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 4 classes/year) and include a 1-3 year contract with benefits. For more information about the Visiting Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.12.



Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement:

Higher Ed degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.



OR 



An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 1, 2023.

Required Qualifications:

Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in any area of quantitative marketing, marketing research, digital marketing, consumer behavior, or customer relationship management.

Desirable Qualifications:

We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach at the undergraduate level.
