POSITION SUMMARY: The Division of Student Life; Iowa Memorial Union is seeking a Temporary - Custodian I to be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned rooms in the Iowa House Hotel. Professional Custodial Service providing safe, clean and healthy environments in the Iowa House Hotel.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

• Use of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned rooms.
• Stocks supply carts when necessary.
• Puts away linen.
• Vacuums hallways and performs other assigned cleaning tasks.
• Report and communicate repair needs for buildings and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION BASICS:

Hourly Rate/Range: $16.48

WORK SCHEDULE:

Hours: Weekday and weekend hours can be flexible on approval.

Shift: 8am - 3pm daily

Work Week: May work occasional weekends

Additional Hours: May work occasional hours to cover absences and peak periods of operation
